Thanks so much, Clo, I really appreciate your comments. It's fun to get a little bit darker. I've been doing some happier children's related work lately, and it feels like it's time to explore this darker style again.

I really enjoy this piece and your darker work. The simplicity in color palette and linear form are easy to read, as well as aesthetically pleasing. Your website contains two images I find interesting because of the similar approach you take in line and color. The tags on the preview dialog for your works read 'Anglo' and 'Violence'. I believe watercolor and charcoal were the mediums used. However, the painterly approach you take to creating the human form is showing of your skill and patience. There is such emotion in these works without even knowing the full title or context of the pieces! Conventionally beautiful. I always appreciate an illustrator who stays true to their medium's physicality.
